先日ホイットニーが死んだ途端にiTunesの彼女のベストの値段が上がって非難轟々みたいな記事がありましたが、CD・レコードの時代ならその時出ていた廉価盤ベストをバックオーダー無視してそのまま在庫終了にして、数カ月後に数曲差し替えて価格を釣り上げたうえで、「追悼ベスト盤！　遂に発売！」と大々的にプロモーションして売り捌けばよかったわけで。
売り手にとっては小回りが効かないというか、むしろ小回りが効きすぎて厄介なそんな時代、ということになりましょうか。
